On this blog we like to feature independent performance happening around Saskatoon. This week I'm excited to tell you about a show that was part of the Short Cut Festival 2016 on it's journey to this full length production. Alex Hartshorn and Christina Persson interview each other about working on this theatre/dance/music piece. They call it a "live art installation".

A message from Sylvia -
The A-May-Zing Fling is this week and as I look at my calendar, it is the last time I'll be singing in Saskatoon all Summer! I wanted to let you know.
We'll be singing this song, it's so sweet! Have a listen.

Part of the Short Cuts Festival
Want to take a shot at next year’s Short Cuts? Want to learn to write a 10-minute play?
Though an unexplored format to Saskatoon’s theatre scene, the 10 minute play is established in other parts of the country and a growing trend. It is to full length plays what short stories might be to the novel or what a single song might be to a musician’s set. A complete story unto itself.
Hardly Art Artistic Director Yvette Nolan will offer an intensive workshop on How to Write a 10-Minute Play, Saturday April 30th, 11 – 1 pm at The Refinery.
Bring a pen and notebook or laptop or quill and parchment, and be prepared to create a whole world.
The workshop is free for the taking but you must pre-register Email firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message at the box office 306-653-5191
