With craft\, honey tongued rhetoric and the help of an unexpected alliance\, the two hobos make off with the entire supply. Naturally\, their pleasant Sunday afternoon soon derails as the two fellows find themselves on the run from all manner of dangerous and surly adversaries. Over one ordinary afternoon buying tickets\, cooking dinner\, painting walls their relationship unravels under the weight of language barriers\, political fears\, and the haunting presence of war. \nIt is a story about war without showing war. \nA story about immigration without clichés. \nA story about love that refuses easy comfort. \nThrough humour\, tenderness\, and moments of heartbreak\, the play invites audiences into the private world of a couple who love each other deeply yet cannot escape the histories embedded in their bodies and languages.
