Floyd Youth Theatre Festival is proud to present for its 2022 season, Four fantastic One-Act plays by young artists. All four plays will run as one full length show Friday and Saturday.

 

Coffee or Tea: Written by Hope Van Vliet and Directed by Xander Scribante

Coffee or Tea is a drama about how the people around us shape our lives. Four deeply connected people lead each other in directions they would have never found on their own.

Cast: Julia Kowalski as Sarah; Aria Conley as Ivy; Charlie Bettker as Taylor; Greame Hopkins as Jay.

 

Keys:  Written and Directed by Paulina Zajac

When Marie Antoinette said there’d be cake, she wasn’t talking about Ms. Leonski’s.

Cast: Cairo MacPherson as Aunt Gayle;  Isaac McKay as Jack;  Graeme Hopkins as Connor;  Mason Henschel as Father Gabe; Paulina Zajac (she/her).

 

Big Bad Mr. Mailman:  Written and Directed by Kaylub Sinclair

An absurd comedy with one hell of an attitude. A mysterious letter arrives in an office mail room and it's up to a group of dysfunctional nitwits to figure out who it belongs to.

Cast: Jonny MacPherson as Will Booker; Kylen Rioux as Beeze Gronkwan; Matthew Rempel as TJ Getwilder; Molly Chartier as Claudia Von Celeste; Caleb Allen as Jordan Bones.

 

Stew: Written by Oli Guselle and Directed by Gracie Vanthuyne
Captive vegetables attempt to appeal to a higher power to save their souls from eternal damnation. Joe makes some stew.

Cast: Sarah Spehar, Kai Batycki, Mason Henschel, Jack Dennis, Nicole Gillise, Molly Chartier, Julian Ganseco, Owen Kelsey.
