Singer-songwriter, Scott Anthony has quietly made his third CD, and chuckles at its title.

However, the concert will surely not be lazy; it is jammed-packed.  Local singer-songwriters Rhonda Gallant-Morari, and Lyn Besse McGinnis join Scott Anthony.  Also, Corinne Groff sings with Scott Anthony, “Our Story Began in These Seats,” a song about two high school sweethearts (now married) who met every Friday at Nipawin’s Falkon Theatre. The lovely Belle Plaine sang it on the CD. Mr. Ross Nykiforuk, Scott Anthony’s awesome producer, awesome jazz organist and sax player and accordion player, will be featured. (Lots of awesomeness). Yes, there is a healthy serving of smooth jazz, since the “sun’s settin’ large on Saskatchewan jazz, isn’t it grand?” Yes, it is.

But, perhaps one of the most unique parts of the evening is an amalgam of jazz/blues with yoga.

Bodhi Tree’s Colin Hall and Crushed Rockets’ Sherona and Aaron Sinclair co-directed Scott’ s video, “Wisdom is Waitin’ on Me”, which features Shea Usick among other yogis. Thanks to SpinCount Radio promotion, this track is getting some serious attention on Canadian College and Indy radio. The video will be featured during the performance. Taken together, The “I Don’t’ Do Lazy Like That” CD Release Show certainly promises to be anything but, indeed.
