Danica has spent more than twenty years as a professional oral storyteller. She has been struck by lightning, a moose, a rogue semi-tire, vehicles, and the odd strange idea. She is a freelance writer, face and body painter, poet, event organizer, and the host of Shaw Spotlight Saskatoon's literary arts program 'Lit Happens'. She has had short stories and poems published in various literary magazines and anthologies. Her projects have been supported by SK Arts and she is currently a recipient of a Canada Council grant in the Explore and Create, Concept to Realization category.
