La Mitchin di Mitchif (Mitchif Medicines) is a new Indigenous contemporary dance work created through an international collaboration between Vancouver's V’ni Dansi (‘Come and Dance’ in Michif) and Santa Fe’s Dancing Earth. Co-choreographed by Yvonne Chartrand and Dancing Earth Artistic Director Rulan Tangen, this hour-long production of La Mitchin di Mitchif explores Métis cultural heritage and fosters a living relationship to the land and Mother Earth.

Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre (GTNT, formerly Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company) is an award-winning, professional Indigenous theatre company and registered charity based in Saskatoon that has been operating since 1999. GTNT’s vision is to develop and maintain a working Indigenous theatre community in Saskatchewan composed of aspiring, emerging, and established artists, while increasing intercultural understanding in Saskatoon and communities within Saskatchewan.
