Southern Dandy 75 - October 15th - 25th, 2026
At Studio 914 (914 20th Street W. Saskatoon, SK)
![]()
The 10-year anniversary of one of Live Five’s most infamous productions!
Southern Dandy 75 is the ‘old timey story of Two Boxcar Hobos, who unwittingly find themselves in possession of the finest and rarest bourbon whiskey - The Southern Dandy 75. With craft, honey tongued rhetoric and the help of an unexpected alliance, the two hobos make off with the entire supply. Naturally, their pleasant Sunday afternoon soon derails as the two fellows find themselves on the run from all manner of dangerous and surly adversaries. Meanwhile, it’s election day, and the fate of the town rests in the decision between ‘mostly good’ and ‘just plain villainous’.
Southern Dandy 75 is a comedy of a fanciful nature, fuelled by adventure, poetry, music and booze.

The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
November 18 - 29, 2026
Adapted by Ron Reed from the novel by C.S. Lewis, Produced by Burnt Thicket Theatre
@ PAVED Arts/AKA Event Space (424 20th St. W)
![]()
A magical fairytale for all ages!
Ron Reed's captivating reimagining of C.S. Lewis' iconic story The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe invites audiences of all ages to dive back into Narnia's wonder with a grown-up Peter and Lucy Pevensie, still as entranced as ever. Upon returning to a most peculiar wardrobe, these adult siblings are caught up once more in the wintry world beyond that magic lamp post.
Echoing the 2018 praise for Pacific Theatre’s rendition from The Georgia Straight’s Kathleen Oliver, the production will be "simple magic," with just two actors playfully transfiguring the "humble ingredients" of items in a bedroom into something extraordinary.

find me, please - March 1 - 14
At Studio 914 (914 20th Street W. Saskatoon, SK)
By Pouya Pirhosseinloo, Produced by Rahéno Art Company
There has to be a voice that makes the sounds of war easier to bear...
find me, please... follows Saba, an Iranian woman living in Saskatoon, and Jonathan, her partner who immigrated as a child from the Israel. Over one ordinary afternoon buying tickets, cooking dinner, painting walls their relationship unravels under the weight of language barriers, political fears, and the haunting presence of war.
It is a story about war without showing war.
A story about immigration without clichés.
A story about love that refuses easy comfort.
Through humour, tenderness, and moments of heartbreak, the play invites audiences into the private world of a couple who love each other deeply yet cannot escape the histories embedded in their bodies and languages.
