Dancing Sky Theatre believes in the power of community and sharing stories, especially during challenging times. During the lockdown we have been creating an exciting new out-door amphitheatre space, so that we can return to some small gatherings around an open fire.

Dancing Sky is on the edge of a tiny village nestled in the rolling prairie east of Saskatoon. Many people have walked this landscape over the centuries. We will be sharing stories about some of these people. Indigenous people, first wave homesteaders, and recent immigrants have accepted the bounty, and engaged in the challenges that this landscape has to offer. We will be sharing some of their stories and songs.

Come and watch the sun set, smell the wood smoke, and even have a pre-ordered picnic created by our Chef Ernie. We are thrilled to invite you to our re-opening with a new kind of Dancing Sky rural experience. Share a magical evening with the whole family. Don’t miss out, order your tickets now. There are limited numbers due to social distancing rules.

Reserve tickets for the show only, or the show and individually wrapped picnic lunch.  For this event you can eat during the show.  Bar will be open before the show.  (cash or credit card please). In the event of rain, we will move into the theatre.

Ernie's Picnic Lunch: Three cheese and Spinach Calzone, Salad on a Stick and a Fancy Cookie.  (No other options.)

Theatre in Covid Times

Individuals who have travelled outside of Saskatchewan or been in contact with those who have recently should not not attend.  Those feeling unwell, or showing symptoms of illness should not attend.  Those in contact with people who have been ill should not attend.  -- The current Saskatchewan Health Authority Recommendations should be followed.  Masks are not required but are strongly recommended.  The contact information you provided when purchasing tickets will be used for contact tracing if necessary.

Should you need to cancel, tickets can be refunded ($2 processing fee)

NOTE - Highway 5 is under major construction between Meacham and Saskatoon the next couple years so please check highway hotline and plan route accordingly.
