Shakespeare's two-part play recounting the reign of England's Henry IV brings together comedy, politics, and family drama, to explore the realities of leadership, responsibility, and wielding power.

Part I

With his crown under threat from foreign and domestic enemies, Henry IV prepares for war. As his father defends his crown, Prince Hal is languishing in the taverns and brothels of London, revelling in the company of his friend, the notorious Sir John Falstaff. With the onset of rebellion led by Harry “Hotspur”, Hal must confront his responsibilities to family and country.
